Nat-Bass.com began its life in late 2004. Sporting a bright orange layout and operating as Natalie Bassingthwaighte Online the site foundations were quickly laid. The creation of the site was a desire to support Neighbours and its cast. There was also a lack of Australian fan sites at the time (with most choosing to focus on some of the big US celebrities) so it was a nice gap to fill.

Whilst Nat-Bass.com was one of the first Natalie Bassingthwaighte fan sites, there were two others online at the time. Another fan site operated by Becky and a fan listing. These remained well into 2005, however Nat-Bass.com was the only actively updated fan site of the three.

As Natalie grew in popularity so did Nat-Bass.com. A domain was bought towards the end of 2005 and Natalie Bassingthwaighte Online became Natalie-Bassingthwaighte.co.uk.

Natalie's public profile continued to swell and Nat-Bass.com kept pace. 2006 saw Natalie shift her focus away from her acting role in Neighbours to music with the Rogue Traders. A Rogue Traders sub site was added which offered Rogue Traders downloads and media.

2007 saw Natalie reach higher levels of fame as she attempted to export her Rogue Traders success to the UK and the US. There was a need for a more comprehensive Natalie fan site so Nat-Bass.com underwent more changes. Sub sections were pulled together and the Nat-Bass.com domain name was registered.
