The 2005 Logies saw many of the Neighbours cast members attending, thanks in part to the fact that it was the year in which the show was celebrating 20 years of production. Natalie failed to gain any finalist nomination for the 2005 Logies (a fact which angered many Neighbours and Natalie Bassingthwaighte fans) but she still attended and took part in the award show.
She presented an award with co-star of the 2005 Grease production, Craig McLachlan and performed and sang in a short enactment of "You're The One That I Want" Grease scene from the show which was to start a few weeks after the Logies.
Along with this Natalie also took part in a skit done by the whole cast of Neighbours, with the exception of Carla Bonner (who plays Steph Scully) and Stephanie Mcintosh (Sky Mangel). This skit saw frantic dancing and singing by the cast and acted as a thank you to the viewers and production team of Neighbours which was inaugurated into the coveted Logies Hall Of Fame
