Izzy Drops Baby Bombshell

Izzy Hoyland has already ruined the relationship of Karl and Susan once before, on Neighbours, and now she stands to do it all again - she's having Karl's baby!
After Izzy fled Erinsborough, Karl (Alan Fletcher) and Susan (Jackie Woodburne) rekindled their love, and he makes a grand gesture to seal the deal by whisking her away to London - unaware that Izzy (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) is there, pregnant with his child.
"As fate would have it, Izzy is in London too and is, as always, in the midst of trouble," says Fletcher from the Melbourne set of Neighbours.
"Izzy has been having an affair with Pete (Daniel Schutzmann), a married football star, and she's being chased by the paparazzi.
"Karl doesn't want anything to do with her but, thinking the baby is her new boyfriend's, Susan tries to reunite Izzy with Pete."
What she doesn't know is that he has issued Izzy with an ultimatum - tell Karl the truth or he will.
Determined not to be drawn into his ex-lover's dramas, the GP urges his sweetheart to enjoy the sights.
On their adventures, they cross paths with such local celebrities as talk-show king Michael Parkinson and former Spice Girl, Emma Bunton, but it's on the London Eye that Susan gets the biggest surprise - Karl proposes!
Everything goes to plan for the Thames-bound nuptials - but Izzy has decided to tell Karl the truth. When she can't go through with it however, Mother Nature has different ideas. The expectant mum goes into labour on the boat!
When the boat docks, Susan overhears Izzy on the phone to Pete saying she couldn't tell Karl about his baby.
"Susan's happy day becomes a torment over what is the right thing to do," says Fletcher.
