Here Come The Drums
The Rogue Traders second album, and first with Natalie Bassingthwaighte as the lead singer, was release in Australia on the 14th October 2005. It came on the back of high success of the Voodoo Child and Way To Go single releases.
The intelligent timing of the release and extensive promotional work by the band helped sell the album. The albums success helped secure the Rogue Traders as entities in Australia.
Here Come The Drums reached a high of #2 in the Australian Aria Charts. It achieved 4x platinum accreditation for selling over 280,000 units. The album stayed in the Aria album charts for over 60 weeks.
The success in Australia was not reflected in the UK, due in part to a lack of promotion. As in Australia Here Come The Drums was released after a single release by the band. The album was released in the UK on the 23rd July 2006
and charted at #46. In the following weeks the album quickly dropped down the charts.
