Don't Give Up
Autumn 2006 and news of Natalie Bassingthwaighte partnering with successful Australian singer Shannon Noll broke in the press. As more details emerged it was revealed that the pair would perform a cover of the duet Don't Give Up. A music video was also created which featured clips of the pair recording the song in a Australian recording studio. The final track was one song on a special charity album titled 'Songs Of Hope' which aimed to raise money for the
Beyond Blue charitable organisation.

The single was released under
the Sony BMG label who also represent the Rogue Traders and who would possibly be the label behind Natalie's solo efforts.
The initial charting of the single was impressive
with the song reaching #2 in the Aria charts during the Christmas 2006 period hinting that Natalie could indeed be a success without the Rogue Traders outfit. The single began dropping down the charts in the coming weeks though showing a lack of staying power despite the large fan base of both Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Shannon Noll.
